Basic Plan for Olympic Village at Candlestick Point
Thank You Micheline Chagniot from UC Davis for the map of what could be an Olympic Village in San Francisco. This Village would have everything an Olympic Village would need, as most of the events would be here. It is also really close to SFO so particpants and tourist would only have a short ride to get there. It is on the San Francisco Bay making for a beautiful view. Candlestick Park could also have major renovations to accommodate these games. One thing that would make this bid more appealing would be to have the Association Football Matches be at the new Levi Stadium and Olympic Stadium in Los Angeles. Levis Stadium could not be the Olympic Stadium because of all of the places around it, which wouldn't allow an Olympic village. It would also bring the Olympics back to California, the first Summer Games in California that is not in Los Angeles.
